Why Finding Meaning Is the Key to Lasting Recovery, and Too Often Left Out of Mental Health Treatment Many people seek support for their mental health through therapy, psychiatry, or medication, yet still feel something is “off.” They might follow every treatment plan, take the meds, show up for sessions, and still feel hollow, numb, or lost. That lingering feeling of “something’s missing”? It’s often purpose. In this blog, we’ll explore why purpose is not just a “nice-to-have,” but an essential, and often overlooked, element in mental health treatment. You’ll also learn how purpose connects to self-actualization , how people misunderstand what it really means, and how integrating it into care can lead to deep, lasting transformation.

  • What does the first appointment include, and how long is it?

Your first visit is a full psychiatric evaluation which is about 45–60 minutes. We’ll talk about your current symptoms, history, and what kind of support you're looking for. It’s thorough but conversational.

  • Will I need to stay in therapy or on meds forever?

Not at all. Some people just need a few sessions or short-term medication, while others prefer longer support. You decide what pace feels right, we simply guide you with care and honesty.

  • Can I switch between virtual and in-person visits?

Yes. We offer hybrid care so you can choose what works for your life. Come in if you want face-to-face support, or switch to virtual if you’re busy or prefer comfort from home.

  • What kinds of issues do you help with most?

We specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD evaluations, life direction, any mood disorders - including psychosis and bipolar and burnout. Many of our clients feel lost or stuck and we help them rediscover peace, focus, and purpose.
